INSPIRED by sex symbol Brigitte Bardot and her 1956 classic “And God Created Woman” , Brian Khoo’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection is a celebration of seduction, elegance and old hollywood glamour.
This collection continues to establish Brian Khoo’s provocative aesthetic, with taut dresses and intimates that leave little to the imagination. Slits and exposed skin are prevalent elements, along with gorgeous suitings and chic seperates.
The collection uses high-end luxurious materials - gentle brocades and rich velvets are displayed heavily, mixing with delicately patterned cottons and experimenting with sheer knits and heavy embroidery. Fringe and denim are also featured, paired with staple Brian Khoo fabrics like soft satins and ?ne mesh.
Spring/Summer 2017 also present a selection of menswear pieces, offering a masculine version of his vision. He mixes traditional menswear styles with feminine details, creating pieces that are easily interchangeble between men and women.
